There is no bacterial genus or species named "chloroplast." The mention of "norank_f__norank_o__Chloroplast" having a positive relationship (increased) in the paper likely indicates a taxonomic classification assigned to a microbial organism that shares some similarities with chloroplasts or has been annotated as such due to its genetic composition. Since it is not a bacterium, it may have been inadvertently included in the analysis and can be omitted from further consideration.

Overlapping signatures in Figure 2h and Figure S2A[edit source]

Following the curation policy, we curate the test that reports a larger number of signatures whenever signatures overlap as seen in figure 2H (LEfSe) and Figure S2A (Wilcoxon rank-sum test).
