The paper indicated that differences in microbial abundance between samples were evaluated using various statistical analysis methods, such as the t-test and LEfSe. It is inferred that any comparison not specifying LEfSe as the statistical test employed the t-test.
I did not record any of the other alpha diversity measures from supplemental table S1 because it is impossible to determine which ones were significant and which ones were not, as indicated in Figures 1c and 1d.
