Response to platinum-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy

Any process that results in a change in state or activity of a cell or an organism (in terms of movement, secretion, enzyme production, gene expression, etc.) as a result of a platinum based neoadjuvant chemotherapy stimulus. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy is given as a first step to shrink a tumor before the main treatment, which is usually surgery, is given.
