My name is Alisha Mahadeo. I am a part of the 4+1 program at CUNY SPH. During my undergraduate studies, I majored in Neuroscience and Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Health Sciences. I also worked as an undergraduate research volunteer where I studied the mechanisms of chronic pain and how the gut microbiota composition varies with chronic pain. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work on the BugSigDB project and I am very excited to make contributions to it.
