About Me:

Hello, I'm Liliana, a biochemist turned Python developer based in Chile. My journey has been a diverse one, ranging from coding in Python and data science to teaching and contributing to research.

Professional Background:

   Freelance Python Developer in Chile, specializing in web development using Django and data science projects. I also collaborate on Python-based projects.

   Former Science Teacher: I spent seven years teaching students of all ages in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics, fostering a love for science and learning.

   Research Assistant: During my time at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, I was part of the Nephrology lab at CIM, where I contributed to identifying new renal podocyte proteins, with findings presented at international congresses such as Kidney Week, American Society of Nephrology, World Congress of Nephrology, 2013, And national congress Chilean Society of Cell Biology Congress, 2013.

   Thesis Student: I conducted research on the RhoA/ROCK pathway during pregnancy in the Obstetrics and Gynecology lab at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, with my work presented at the Chilean Society of Cell Biology Congress, 2011.

Tech Communities: I participate in organizations like Pyladies Bioinfo, PyLadies en español, WWCode y Aws girls Chile.
