I am Mildred Andokie Anashie, from Obudu in Cross River State, Nigeria. I am highly motivated and skilled, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Calabar, where I graduated with Second Class Upper honors. In my professional career, I have served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Cross River State, where I played a pivotal role in the Microbiology department. My responsibilities included conducting research, assisting with data analysis, lecturing, supporting students, and maintaining laboratory equipments and supplies. I also have experience working as a microbiologist at Asi Ukpo Diagnostic & Medical Center, where I conducted laboratory tests, analyzed samples, followed safety protocols, and assisted with research projects. In addition to my academic and professional achievements, I have also demonstrated my commitment to public health, education and entrepreneurship through my involvement in the Cycle Care Initiative. In 2023, I led a successful school-based social marketing campaign on menstrual hygiene and reusable pads. I also have volunteer and working experience with  non-governmental organization (N.G.O) such as Red Cross Society where I've occupied roles and gained valuable experience, fostering a diverse set of skills such as leadership, maintaining records, etc I am a versatile professional with a strong foundation in microbiology, public health, and education. I am proficient in laboratory techniques, project management, problem-solving, and communication. I am also a quick learner and self-motivated individual. I am confident that my skills and experience make me a valuable asset to any team. I am eager to contribute to open source and make a positive impact on the world.
