I worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Bionformatics, SASTRA University, INDIA for 5+ years . I received B.Tech Biotechnology in 2004 from Bharathidasan University, INDIA and M.Tech in Bioinformatics in 2007 from SASTRA University, INDIA with appreciatable CGPA of 9.81 . These cross-disciplines make me to work completely in the area of bioinformatics and experimental biology. As an Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics, I have handled theory papers such as Biostatistics, Data mining and Data Warehousing, Genomics and Proteomics and Microarray techniques and data analysis and practical papers like PERL, R for Microarray data analysis, Sequence Analysis at the levels of B.Tech and M.Tech programs in the School of Chemical and Biotechnology. I maintained a harmonious balance between teaching profession and research activities. I have presented my research work in many conferences/workshops organized by esteemed universities/institution from all over India and also won best award for a few of my presentations. I was Awarded the Best Paper "Identifying the Signature Genes and Pathway Analysis of Bladder Cancer” in the National Conference on Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Bioengineering, Society Of Applied Biotechnology. I was awarded the Best Poster "Gene Expression Profiling Of Orbitofrontal cortex in Bipolar Disorder" in the International conference in Genomics and Proteomics, NIT Calicut, INDIA. I was an Invited speaker “Methods and Tools for Gene Expression Profiling”, Calicut University, INDIA. I also like to point out that I am capable of approaching research problems on my own using all the resources at my disposal and in innovative ways. I have Published few papers ‘Insilico screening of Prevotella intermedia 17 identifies lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis pathway genes as potential drug targets”, IEEE Xplore. ”Bacterial adhesins, the pathogenic weapons to trick host defense arsenal”, Elsevier. In recent years, I have participated Biohackathons conducted by St.Judes childrens hospital, “Automatic detection, masking and quantiation of cells using AI”.
