Welile Ndabenhle Dlamini, a native of Swaziland, is a driven Computer Science major at Ashesi University and a distinguished Mastercard Foundation Scholar, consistently earning a spot on the Dean's List. His robust skill set encompasses software development, project management, data analysis, consulting, and web development, complementing his academic pursuits. Notably, Welile has recently completed internships at ANTHILL in the USA, where he collaborated with the development team to enhance the flagship application, and at STANDARD BANK in Eswatini, where he played a pivotal role in improving transactional security protocols and automating internal banking processes. Beyond his technical prowess, Welile is a visionary founder and the current President of YES! WE ARE THE FUTURE LEADERS, a dynamic youth-led group comprising 24 volunteers. Under his leadership, the organisation has empowered over 120 students in rural schools through academic mentoring, significantly reducing teen pregnancy, drug misuse, and drop-out rates in the community. Welile's technical proficiency and commitment to community development make him a remarkable talent in computer science.
